Hi, I'm Lauren

 The cliff notes version of my story:

In 2004 after 2 years struggling with my health, I was diagnosed with celiac disease. I was 16 years old. 

The first gastroenterologist I saw told me to avoid "gluten". The internet barely existed and there was one book that I could find that talked about celiac disease and what gluten even was.

I radically changed my diet and I didn't feel much better. So I removed even more food groups, eventually getting down to 5 foods.

I then went on to struggle for another 20 years with fatigue, brain fog, chronic pain, digestive issues and so much more. I got even more diagnosis (lyme, mold illness, sibo, etc.) I went to 50+ doctors, moved states, and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to get better. I got so tired of trying new doctors and naturopaths that I eventually went back to school to learn how to heal myself.

By the grace of God, I’m alive and thriving over 22 years later.

You are probably here for one of three reasons:

MY STORY

 

The daughter of strict well-meaning parents, I grew up thinking that I had only one choice in life. Go to school, get a good job, and build a stable life for myself. While this laser focus led me to a high-paying career in my 20s, it didn't leave me with any sense of who I was and what brought me joy.

After realizing I was too young to feel stuck, I walked away from it all and embarked on the ultimate journey of self-discovery. And I learned that once you step into who you really are, there's no going back.
